Kathy, Georgia and Paul,

I am very sorry for your loss. Stan was one of the best guys I've ever had the privilege of working with and knowing. I will always remember Stan fondly as he was almost like a father figure to me, especially since he looked and talked much like my own father.

When I talked about Stan, I always used the phrase "salt of the earth" because Stan really was the salt of the earth. He was one of the most genuine, humblest and sweetest souls that I've ever known. He will be truly missed by not only his friends and family, but by the water community that loved and respected him. I am very fortunate to have been able to work with one of the most brilliant minds in our business.

I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers through this most difficult time and will do everything I can to make Stan proud.

I had the pleasure of working with Stan in Cleveland when I first started my engineering career. He was always extremely helpful and went out of his way to teach me key skills I needed to be successful. When I look across my life to people who have helped me build a strong foundation, both in and out of work life, I think of Stan. He made sure to reminded me of what was important - family. I remember how excited he was when he returned from his trips to Greece over the years and his willingness to share his wonderful experience with others.

Our condolences from Kathy and myself to you and your family. We are saddened by the news and pray for you now. Stan and I worked in the same office for 18 years. He was a very kind and generous person. He would always put forth a great effort to help with any problems. He was an honorable and noble man. I will miss him.

Mary and I are so very sorry for your loss. We first met you and Stan nearly 30 years ago, and had a long and wonderful tradition of sitting together at the company picnics and holiday parties, sharing stories of our children as they were growing up. Thinking of those times brings back fond memories.

Stan was a very special man - humble and so very polite, yet truly one of the smartest people I have ever met. We worked together for nearly 25 years, and worked together on projects all around the Country, from Florida to St. Louis to Boston......traveling together for our work, but enjoying ourselves with stimulating conversation over a nice dinner and drinks in the evening.

I consider working with Stan to have been my privilege. In my 39 years of working in environmental engineering, I can't think of anyone smarter than Stan. His ability to do calculations in his head, and quickly solve problems still amazes me. When we spoke about non-work matters, Stan always asked me how Mary, and our children were - Angela, Matt, Larissa and Sarah. He always remembered their names and always was deeply interested in how the Atoulikian family was. Stan was also proud of his family - and he would smile and his eyes would twinkle when he spoke to us about your latest accomplishments.

Stan went too soon, but the impact that Stan had on those of us that knew him and interacted with him daily will never be forgotten. God bless each of you, and we will always be there for you.

My greatest condolences go out to family and friends of Stan. He was the first person to talk to me when I began working with the company and was always friendly and welcoming to all...making work days in the office a pleasure. I couldn't have had a better cubicle buddy or Christmas party companion. I'll always remember the wonderful soul that Stan was and look forward to seeing him again, God Bless.
