I have such fond memories of our beloved Maria. She was always welcoming when I stopped by their house. For some reason I showed up at dinner time and was asked to stay and eat one of her scrumptious meals. I always demurred( at first ) but quietly sat down at their table. I will miss talking to her, either in person or on the phone. Such a gracious, lovely person. Rest in peace, my dear friend. Love you.Barbara Strickland, Todd’s mom.
