Lee (Evangelos) Daniels, beloved son, brother, godfather, and friend, passed away on March 22, 2022. Born on December 31, 1988, he is lovingly remembered by his parents, Steve and Elaine Daniels, his brother Timothy Daniels, his grandmother Clara Daniels, his goddaughter Emma Carvaines, and numerous cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by grandparents Angelo Daniels and Jim and Maritsa Kantzios.
Those who knew Lee saw how he tirelessly supported those he loved most. He prioritized keeping in touch with friends from all chapters of his life. Lee was constantly promoting the achievements of his family, often becoming an impromptu salesman for his family’s restaurant or his cousin’s woodworking shop.
Lee was known for his love of food. A verifiable gourmand, Lee spent many happy hours preparing charcuterie boards for his friends to enjoy. He could be relied on for the best cheese recommendations. Lee was also adventurous--there was no food that was too hot or too spicy. He loved to explore the best of local dining, often while enjoying the company of family and friends. He always appreciated a fine cigar and a great bourbon.
Lee was a truly kind person, who helped others without wanting or expecting recognition. He deeply cared for the people in his life, famously greeting those he knew with giant bear hugs. His smile was large and his laugh was infectious. Lee enjoyed spending time with his cousins, sharing with them his boundless curiosity and abiding love of Star Wars, Legos, cars, video games, and history.
