As the owner of Betty’s House of Beauty, she and her business partner Dee, cared for decades of clients and made long-lasting friends through shampoo’s, sets and permanent waves. After the passing of her husband, Andy, “Bea” continued the legacy of running the family tavern Hotz’s Café. She was the matriarch of the business and treated anyone that walked in the bar like a member of her extended family. Her love of life was infectious, and words of wisdom would remain in your heart.
The family would like to thank the The Elisabeth Severance Prentiss Center and Jennings (Garfield Hts.) staff for their selfless dedication in caring for Betty. Daily, she called you beautiful and told you she loved you. Finally, a special heartfelt thanks to Patti, Tina and Peter, her true guardian angels. We will be forever grateful for the unconditional love and care you provided each and every day. As she looks at us from heaven, it’s certain she could be heard saying: “Until we meet again, Forget-me-not”!
