Zelma Jean O’Neal “Mommy Jean” (nee Wheeler), age 83, entered eternal rest on February 13, 2024. Beloved wife of the late William E. O’Neal Sr. of 52 years. Loving mother of Debra K. Gupko (Mark Gupko Sr.), Judy A. O’Neal, McArthur O’Neal (Diane R. O’Neal), and William E. O’Neal Jr. (Patricia L. Lyons). Cherished grandmother of Andrew Gupko, Mathew Gupko, Kylene Gupko, Mark Gupko Jr., Ryan O’Neal (departed), Jessica O’Neal, Alysha O’Neal, Miranda O’Neal, Tiffani Lowers, Nicholas Lyons, and 11 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late George Wheeler and Dorthy (nee Franklyn) Wheeler. Dear sister of Jack, Patricia, Phyllis, Joyce, Barney, Chester, and Agness.
Zelma graduated high school and studied nursing to become a nurse’s aide. She then married and became a wife, mother, and homemaker.
ALL SERVICES on WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 21, 2024 at YURCH FUNERAL HOME, 5618 Broadview Rd. Parma, OH 44134. VISITATION from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with FUNERAL SERVICE TO FOLLOW at 1:00 PM. Interment at West Park Cemetery.
