Thomas Valantasis' Obituary
Thomas George Valantasis, age 77, passed away on March 22, 2026. Beloved husband of Rose (nee Talarico). Loving father of Keli Valantasis and Christopher Valantasis (Karen). Dear grandfather of Evelyn Rose Valantasis. Son of the late George and Kalliopi Valantasis. Brother of Jean Filippou (John), Irene Pontikos (Bill, deceased), and Gus Valantasis (Nancy). Beloved uncle, brother in law, cousin, Godfather, and friend to many.
Thomas enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1969 and honorably served his country. He was a papou to his favorite furry friends, Pepper, Lucy and Charlie. He enjoyed listening to Motown music, Greek dancing, horse racing, casinos, gardening, and camping at the cabin, but being a proud papou to Evelyn Rose was his greatest blessing.
All Services on Monday March 30, 2026 at St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 4548 Wallings Rd. North Royalton, OH. 44133. Visitation from 9:00AM to 11:00AM. With Funeral Service to follow at 11:00AM. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church Benevolent Fund.
