I first saw Susan at church with Neil at the Y2K New Year’s Eve service. She was so beautiful: truly a vision. She looked stunning in a black gown, dressed to the nines, but I thought this woman, everything about her, is beautiful! I thought I was in another world. We became friends. She frequently reached out to me, sent me cards, knowing that I was going through a tough time with depression. She was there for me, loving and supporting me. I can only imagine what a blessing to her family she is has always been and that she is their heart.
