Aunt Sophia was such a nice lady and always appreciative of little kindnesses.
When I married my second husband, Emil Misiaszek, she wrote in her card of congratulations a note saying that the date of our marriage -- February 15, 1997 -- was also the 50th wedding anniversary date for her and Uncle Andy.
My first husband was Edward Taubinger. When he died in 1991, I greatly appreciated the attendance of his family at the service. My mother-in-law was Marie Taubinger, sister to Aunt Sophia. All of the Vrabels were a very loving family.
