Ronald Root's Obituary
Ronald Root, age 94. Beloved husband of the late Marianne Louise Tittle for over 50 years. The best father in the world to Sue Ann Mollica (Vince); Judy Karas (George) and Karen Jandziszak (Leon). Grandfather of Chris Karas (Milena), Nick Karas (Mary), Rachael Dorsey (Nick), Matthew Jandziszak (Jiana) and Grace Mollica. He was a huge influence in his grandchildren’s lives. He will be missed terribly by his dear friend and partner Cara Lee Pallas. Ron is preceded in death by his sister Belle (John), brother Lloyd (Marge), and dear friend Mary Ciacchi. He is survived by his brother Earl (Myrna) whose daughter Tannya Lee and granddaughter Lilia were never far from his heart. A U.S. Army Veteran. Ron made such a difference in so many people’s lives from his years as a driving instructor to over 40 years of involvement with Gamblers Anonymous. His GA friends were a huge part of his life. He was such a modest man and took the most joy from making people happy and laugh. His group of friends at Panera were extremely important to him as were his neighbors who treated him with kindness for many years. Ron lived his life to the fullest and appreciated every moment with his family, including his sister-in-laws, Annie and Carol, and especially his daughters and grandchildren. He loved to read and enjoyed learning and staying active. He had all intentions of reaching at least 100 years and we all thought he would. His absence will cause so much silence in all our lives. We are truly grateful for the years of happiness we had with him. A funeral service will be held at St. Matthias Church at 1200 W Sprague Rd, Parma, OH 44134 on Wednesday, November 20th at 2:00pm followed by short reception.
