Phyllis Marie Simmons (nee Wallace), age 88, passed away on April 15, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Thomas W. Simmons III of 57 years. Loving mother of Sandra L. Baker (John) of Franklin, MA., and Christina S. Nassif (George) of North Royalton, OH. Cherished grandmother of Amanda M. and Allyson M. Baker, and Justin T. Nassif. Daughter of the late Hobart and Claudye Wallace. Dear Sister of Gretha A. Tollenberger, Hobart M. Wallace Jr., F. Louise Newmeyer, and Barbara E. Hurley. Aunt of Hannah L. Newmeyer. Phyllis was previously a long-term resident of Havre de Grace, MD. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment at Old Saint Anne’s Church Cemetery in Middletown, DE.
