Paul D. Ellis Sr. “Big Daddy”, age 74. Beloved husband of Karen. Loving father of Jeff (Andrea), the late Sgt. Major Joe of the USMC, and Paul D. Jr. Brother of Paulette Papotta, Ron (Dee), and the late Joseph. Dear son-in-law of Martha Sima. Loving grandfather, great grandfather, and amazing uncle. U.S. Airforce Veteran. Paul was very involved in the Jacubic American Legion Post 572 and supported many activities within the Post. He retired from Alcoa after 41 years, where he was the Union President. Paul had a passion from helping veterans and enjoyed American Legion Riders’ activities. VISITATION FRIDAY 3-7 pm at YURCH FUNERAL HOME, 5618 Broadview Rd. Parma. FUNERAL SERVICE SATURDAY APRIL 14, 2018 at 10 am at YURCH. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 572, 6483 State Rd.
