Patrick Mastrobuono's Obituary
Patrick Mastrobuono II, age 81, of McLean, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.
Patrick was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 27, 1942. He graduated from John Adams High School in 1960 and later from Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He joined the United States Air Force in 1960 and served 4 years at Lakenheath Air Force Base in England.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Sarah Jane (Goldberger) Mastrobuono and is survived by spouse, Janet Grace (Galley) Mastrobuono, daughter, Tricia Marie (Stephen) Arnold, Falls Church, VA, grandchildren, Liam Patrick Arnold, Caitlin Grace Arnold, and Ciara Ann Arnold, brothers George Mastrobuono, Jr. (Carol), Parma, Ohio, Ralph Mastrobuono (Janet), (Lexington, South Carolina) and sister Sarah Jane Angel (Edgardo), Mukilteo, Washington, and extended family members.
He was a member of Bethany Assembly of God Church for many years and served on the school board and as a Sunday School teacher. He loved traveling overseas and immersing himself in various cultures and languages. He was employed with Textron as a technical instructor in Tehran, Iran in 1978. He loved his family and enjoyed cooking, reading, and exercising.
The visitation will be held at Yurch Funeral Home, 5618 Broadview Road, Parma, Ohio 44134, on October 8, 2023, from 12:30 to 3:00pm with a service to start at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans (https://www.dav.org).
