Patrick Anthony Longbrake Jr.'s Obituary
Patrick Anthony Longbrake Jr., affectionately known to friends and family as Rudy, was born on August 10, 1975 and passed away on September 6, 2024 at the age of 49. He is survived by his loving parents, Patrick Anthony Longbrake Sr. and Mattie LaRue Longbrake, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Rudy graduated from Euclid High School in 1993. Soon after, he proudly served in the United States Air Force, where he found great fulfillment in his commitment to serve his country.
A talented broadcast videographer, Rudy wore many hats in his field, showcasing his creativity and dedication. He had an eye for detail and a unique perspective that made his work truly stand out.
He had a profound passion for music and film. Known for his witty sense of humor, Rudy had a remarkable ability to quote his favorite songs and movies, bringing joy and laughter to those around him.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Rudy had a deep appreciation for food as an art form. He loved cooking for his family and friends. Dining out at restaurants was one of his great joys, as he relished exploring new culinary experiences.
Rudy was an animal lover, and cherished the companionship of his two beloved cats, Lobi and Loco. He also had a love of the outdoors and delighted in feeding the neighborhood birds and squirrels.
An active and adventurous nature led Rudy to find joy in a variety of activities like fishing, golfing, and attending live concerts and sporting events.
His infectious laugh and spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Rudy's legacy will endure in the hearts of his friends and family, who will remember him fondly for his humor, creativity, and unwavering kindness.
The family invites you to share in a celebration of Rudy’s life on September 28th, between 1-5pm at the Chalet in the Mill Stream Run Recreation Area in Strongsville (16200 Valley Parkway)
