Pat James Linkas' Obituary
Pat James Linkas (90) of Beachwood, Ohio passed away on February 27, 2026. Born on March 6, 1935, Pat was the beloved son of the late James and Chrisoula Linkas (née Tsironis), and brother to Mary Lambert (deceased, née Linkas) and Nicky Chaldekas. He was married to the love of his life Mary (deceased, née Tomasides) for 60 years. He was a loving father to his children James (Sal) and Christine Taylor (Robert), and a devoted grandfather to Nicholas (Tommy) and Melina. Pat was also a beloved uncle and great uncle to many and a beloved Godfather of 5.
A lifelong Clevelander, Pat co-owned Linkas Restaurant on 57th and Broadway. Later, Pat, along with Mary, owned Fisher's Tavern in Mayfield Village for 26 years. It was a true family business, working alongside his kids and grandchildren. Self-described as "old-school," Pat loved animals, turtle sundaes, hot dogs, and watching Ohio State football. He devoted his life to his family, and his family loved him deeply in return. He will be dearly missed.
ALL SERVICES WILL BE HELD THURSDAY MARCH 5TH, 2026 AT STS. CONSTANTINE & HELEN GREEK ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL, 3352 Mayfield Road Cleveland Heights. VISITATION WILL BE HELD FROM 10AM - 11AM WITH THE FUNERAL SERVICE TO FOLLOW AT 11AM. Interment will follow at Lake View Cemetery.
