My mind is so full of memories of Dr. Pax. As a member of the MSMC staff for 16 years, Dr. Pax was both a friend and a mentor. Besides my parents, Dr. Pax was the person who had the most influence on my life, my "growing up". I think about him when I am faced with a difficult decision. What would Dr. Pax do? He would always treat others with respect and kindness and make them feel important. He was what we call today an active listener. He never made it seem like he had something else on his mind or something more important to do. He taught me so many life lessons just by his example. I could go on and on. But I just wanted to say how important he was to me.
