Nikolitsa Poulos' Obituary
Nikolitsa Poulos (nee Kollias), age 90, born December 25, 1929 in Greece. Beloved wife of the late Thomas. Daughter of the late Panayiotis and Venetia Kollias. Sister of the following deceased: Athanasios (Diamondo) Kollias, Penelope (James) Dorlis, and Demetra (Christos) Serbe. Loving Godmother, aunt, and great aunt to many nieces and nephews in the United States and in Greece. Nicky will be forever remembered for her dedication, involvement, and sincere generosity to her church, family, and the surrounding community. She worked for 38 plus years as a crossing guard for the City of Cleveland and was a member of Cleveland’s 2nd districts community response auxiliary. Due to the current pandemic, the funeral service will be held for only family and close friends on Monday August 17, 2020 at 11 AM. Arrangements have been made for those that choose to attend to do so virtually at https://www.facebook.com/annunciationcle/. Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Nicky’s memory may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 2187 W. 14th St. Cleveland, OH 44113.
