Nikolaos Velkos' Obituary
Nick Velkos, aged 90, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2022. Beloved husband of Irene (nee Patsavras) for 58 years; loving father of Tom, Joe (Maria), and Bobby; cherished Pappou of Nikolaos, Emmanuel, and Alexandros Velkos; brother of Lambros (deceased), Paschalis (deceased), Hrisanthi (deceased) and Alexandra. A dear friend to many.

All services at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on Friday, September 16, 2022. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM, with a funeral service to follow. Interment at St. Theodosius Cemetery.
Family and friends are welcome to join us in celebrating the life of Nick Velkos immediately following the funeral services at Stancato’s Italian Restaurant located at 7380 State Road, Parma, OH 44134. (Please note to park in front of the plaza and not the restaurant entrance as the gathering will be in one of the banquet rooms).
Nick was born on November 12, 1931, in the village of Nestorio, Kastoria in Greece. There he met and married the love of his life Irene. Together they emigrated to Cleveland, Ohio, and built their family. He was kind, generous, hard-working, and enjoyed home improvement projects.
His wife, children, and grandchildren were the greatest source of happiness and pride and through them, his memory will remain eternal.
