Nicholas Moraitis' Obituary
NICHOLAS C. MORAITIS. Childhood friend and beloved husband of Helen (nee Thomas); devoted son of Constantine and Anastasia Moraitis of Ikaria, Greece (both deceased); dear brother of Helen Vianos (Nicholas) and Marino (Jackie); uncle of Kostas (Kelly), Nico, John (Diana), and Dino; great-uncle of Eleni and Niko; stepfather of Marie Pugliese; step-grandfather of Daniel Pridemore. Nick was a restaurateur, businessman, and good friend of many. Skiing, tennis, traveling, and wine making were his pastimes. He was the owner of Coventry Inn Steakhouse in Columbus, top franchise salesman and president of Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips in the late ‘70s. U.S. Army Veteran. We appreciated the frequent visits of his friends who brightened his last days. Many thanks also to the dedicated staff at Hospice Services of Southwest General. VISITATION MONDAY 4-8 PM AT YURCH FUNERAL HOME, 5618 Broadview Rd., Parma, OH. Trisagion Service Monday 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Church or to Hospice Services of Southwest General, 1865 Drake Rd., Strongsville, OH 44136. Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery.
