Mavroidis “Mike” N. Mavroidis, age 87, passed away on November 8, 2023. Beloved husband of Triantafylio “Rosie” of 61 years. Loving father of Nick (Maria), Emmanuel, and Spiro (Cynthia). Dear grandfather of Mavroidis (Yiannoula), Konstantinos, Melahrini, and Nicholas. Great grandfather of Niko and Maria. Son of the late Nikolaos and Despina Mavroidis. Brother of Angela (Peter) Sevastakis (both deceased).
Mavroidis “Mike” immigrated to the U.S. in 1973 and owes much of his success to many family members and friends who helped him attain, through hard work and sacrifices, the prosperity for his family and his future generations that he dreamed of. From a young boy, he was an immensely hard worker, avid gardener, and loved hunting. Above all, he treasured his time spent with his family, especially his dear grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and friends.
ALL SERVICES at ANNUNCIATION GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 2187 W. 14th St. Cleveland, OH 44113 on MONDAY NOVEMBER 13, 2023. VISITATION from 10-11AM with FUNERAL SERVICE at 11AM. Interment at St. Theodosius Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution. All contributions will be donated to Mike and Rosie’s home village association (Sakkouleika, Samos) in Greece, which they so much loved and miss.
