Margarita Worch-Telaak's Obituary
Margarita Worch-Telaak (NEE Kluczarow) born February 7, 1950, passed away on Wednesday March 4, 2026 in Cleveland, Ohio after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Gerard Telaak, her father Nikolaj Kluczarow, her mother Klawdia Kluczarow. Remaining to mourn are: Sibling: Lew Kluczarow (Tatiana), Nephew: Andrei Kluczarov (Laura), Nieces: Anastasia Allan (Gregory), Alexandra Kluczarov, and companion and best friend Tommy Percival, and many numerous family and friends, and the entire arts community of Greater Cleveland.
Rita’s passion was art; especially making “one of a kind” pieces of jewelry. Rita learned metalsmithing at Brecksville Center for the Arts and honed her skills at the Orange Community Art center and also learned from Alan Revere and Christopher Darway. She taught Jewelry Making, Metalsmithing and Previous Metal Clay at the Brecksville Center for the Arts. She was PMC Guild Certified to teach classes in Precious Metal Clay and taught classes at the Creative Block in Rocky River Ohio.
She was a member of the following organizations: The Ohio Arts & Crafts Guild, Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG), Ohio Arts Council - Ohio On-Line Visual Artist Registry, American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute (AW), The Brecksville Center for the Arts, The PMC Guild & the National Association of Independent Artists. She was a vendor at dozens of indoor and outdoor shows and later went on to open Eye Candy Gallery in Tremont, Ohio specializing in fine art, fine craft, and fine gifts.
Rita was an avid traveler and scuba diver visiting multiple countries. In her retirement, Rita enjoyed going to movies, traveling and spending time with friends and family and her two cats Willow and Alexander the Great.
Visitation on Thursday March 12, 2026 from 4 to 7PM at Yurch Funeral Home, 5618 Broadview Rd. Parma, OH 44134. Funeral Service at 7PM. Interment, with her late husband, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on March 20, 2026 at 9:15AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the estate will be distributed amongst her list of beloved charities.
