Marcia Szweda's Obituary
Marcia Szweda, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away October 29, 2025. Marcia was the devoted wife of Lynn Szweda for 56 wonderful years. Together they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was the proud and loving mother of Michelle Walz (Jack), Joseph (Tracy), and Adam (Alanna). Marcia’s joy was multiplied by her grandchildren — Jack, Jakob, Julia, Jaden, Dillon, Colin, Hayley, and Tyler — each of whom brought her immense pride and happiness. She was the cherished daughter of the late Thomas & Wanda Tenerovich and dear sister of Diane Proboski (Ken).
Marcia to many, but Nana to just a few. She was that friend who never asked questions and just showed up for you! She was the church goer, prayer buddy, silent listener we all needed at one time or another. She was a fierce believer in loving us all a little bit more than we knew we needed. She was the Grandma who lit up every family gathering with her little comments and contagious laugh. The Grandma, that although was the toughest fighter for the last few years, never failed to check up on each and every one of her grandchildren. She was all of our biggest fans right until the end as we were hers. Her strength, love, compassion and selflessness is what we'll hold in our hearts for years to come. A once in a lifetime type of Nana, and to know her was to love her.
A Gathering will take place at Yurch Funeral Home, 5618 Broadview Rd. Parma, OH 44134 on Monday November 3, 2025 from 2 to 6 PM with Funeral Service at 6 PM.
