Loretta Ellenbest's Obituary
Loretta Ann Ellenbest (nee Vandrasik), of Seven Hills, OH. (formerly Euclid), passed away on March 16 at age 83. Wife of the late Bob of 62 years. Daughter of Martin and Agnes (nee Ohman)(both deceased). Mother of Donna (David) Bly of Sylvania, OH, Robert (Randi) of Richland, WA and Michael (Denise) of Valley City, OH. Sister of MaryLou Vandrasik and Betty (Ron) Gross. Grandmother of seven, great grandmother of two. Also surviving is sister-in-law, Chris Streeter, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a breast cancer survivor of 14 years and was a Lifebanc Donor that will help other survivors like herself.
Prior to retiring she enjoyed her time working for the Adult Parole Authority in downtown Cleveland. Together with Bob, Loretta enjoyed travelling the country, Buckeye Square Dancing, Aquanuts, and Parkinson support groups and seminars. She was a member of ABWA, a breast cancer survivor support group, Seven Hills Recreation Center, and St. Columbkille Church. Although we will miss mom, we find comfort in knowing that she will be with her beloved husband Bob and that they both will always be there for all of us.
