JULIE ANN POWERS, 51, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 21, 2014. Most loving mother of Tiffany, Tara, Jessica, and Jena. Devoted grandmother of Gabriella, Sophia, and Julianne. Dear daughter of Gene and the late Joanna Powers (nee Meconitis). Sister of David, Mark, and Jason. Julie loved all her girls unconditionally and was a role model and inspiration to so many. She enjoyed spending time with family, doing home renovations, cooking, making arts and crafts with her granddaughters, and just taking care of everybody and her dogs. Julie was born in Berea, OH and graduated from Strongsville High School in 1981. In 2013, she moved to Fort Myers, FL., a place she had always dreamed of living. She enjoyed the sun and the beach and being close to her grandchildren. Julie worked as a sales representative for Advantage Sales and Marketing for over 20 years in northeastern Ohio before transferring to Fort Myers. All Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 4548 Wallings Rd., North Royalton, OH 44133. Interment Brooklyn Heights Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the YURCH FUNERAL HOME, 5618 BROADVIEW RD., PARMA, OH 44134 (Between Snow & Brookpark) SUNDAY 2 TO 6 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Paul Missions at St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church.
