Janice L. Taylor (nee Smith) 87. Devoted wife of Howard Taylor (deceased). Loving mother of Susan Fontes (Ronnie) and Carolyn Parisi (James). Cherished grandmother of Ronald, James (Angel), Timothy, Tosha, Richard (Jamie), and Jodi. Treasured great grandmother of James, Geraldine, Anthony, Joshua, Jeweliana, Richard, Jason, Nathan, and Isabella (due 9/23/2021). Caring sister of Tommy (Jean) and Josie Sugalski (Bill). Preceded in death by sisters Yvonne Andrews (Howard), Ruby Gillispie (Ralph), Aleta Uhler (Keith), and brother Nelson (Betty) and parents Leslie and Lucy Smith (nee Cutright). Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday September 18, 2021.
Janice was a proud native of Czar West Virginia, where she graduated from Pickens High School before moving to Cleveland, OH. Janice had a long career as a secretary for Navajo Freight, Warner Smith Trucking, and American Greetings where she retired from after years of service. VISITATION THURSDAY from 5 to 8 PM at YURCH FUNERAL HOME, 5618 Broadview Rd. Parma, OH 44134. FUNERAL SERVICE FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 24, 2021 at 10 AM at YURCH FUNERAL HOME. Interment at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
