Ian Rudnitskas' Obituary
Ian was many things to many people—a son, a brother, a grandson, a cousin, and above all, a deeply loved person. Not a day goes by without someone recalling a memory of him that warms their heart. Ian was always a star who shined brighter than anyone could see—whether it was as an athlete, at a party, or simply in a room, he always found the spotlight.
Everyone remembers his smile, his laugh, and his hazel eyes that made it feel like he could see into your soul. He loved everyone, no matter what they may have done to him. He was endlessly forgiving, even when he didn’t need to be. That was one of his greatest attributes—his heart.
No matter who it was, Ian was always willing to help at a moment's notice. He knew what it felt like to need a hand, because he had his own moments of struggle.
No one could have expected to lose Ian on June 21, 2025. It was a day no one was prepared for. We will always remember to think of him—but at the end of the day, Ian would want all of us to be happy, and to cherish the time we did have with him, no matter how short or long that may have been. If you keep him in your heart, his memory will live on forever. And that’s all anyone could truly want—to make an impact and leave behind memories that last a lifetime, no matter how long that lifetime may be.
Ian-Anthony Eric Rudnitskas is survived by his mother, Christina Estrada; his father, Eric Rudnitskas; his brother, Isaiah Rodriguez (Kara Smosny); his grandmothers, Judith Kikitz and Debbie Rudnitskas; his grandfather, Tony Estrada; his many cousins; his many aunts and uncles; and his many friends. He also had his cherished cat, Bootz, who always stayed by his side.
No one person who loved him is more important than another. What matters is that Ian was loved in many ways, by many people. His memory will live on in us forever.
Visitation on Friday June 27, 2025 from 4 to 8 PM at Yurch Funeral Home, 5618 Broadview Rd. Parma, OH 44134. A Celebration of Life Service at 7:30 PM.
