George Welker, born January 9, 1934, and died March 12, 2019. Cherished husband of Anna (Gussmann), son of Michael and Sofie (Decker) (both deceased). Father of Richard (Christine) and Michael (Patricia). Loving grandfather of Rebecca Crew, Amanda Gillespie (Steve), Curt and Lanie Welker. Dearest great-grandfather of Leyna and Bennett Crew. Older brother of Heinrich, Gerhard, and Helmut of Germany. Interment Private. Celebration of Life on Saturday March 23, 2019 at German Central Club (Café Building) 7863 York Road Parma Heights 44130 from 12 until 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve. Arrangements by Yurch Funeral Home.
