George Spanakis entered eternal rest on March 8, 2024 at the age of 66. Loving partner of Joyce. Loving father of Mary (John). Dear Papou of Georgie and Angelos. Cherished brother of Carrie (Tom), Nick (Joyce) and Stacey. Dog dad to Roxy. Uncle, cousin, and friend too many. Preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Mary Spanakis.
May your memory be eternal our dear George, a curious mind, you always had many questions. A kind soul, you always stood on the ready to help and provide advice. Adventurous, you always had your shoes on and keys in hand. So very proud of your family and grandchildren you shared every photo and video of Georgie, Angelo and Mary you encountered. Despite life’s many challenges you persevered and consistently shared your appreciation of those around you. May God grant you peace, give you rest, and appoint you a place in paradise.
Visitation Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 4-8:00pm with trisagion at 7pm at Yurch Funeral Home, 5618 Broadview Road Parma OH 44134. Funeral Service Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 4548 Wallings Road North Royalton, OH 44133. Interment at St. Theodosius Cemetery.
