George Skoutas' Obituary
George Skoutas, passed away peacefully due to complications with his Parkinson’s Disease. Born June 9, 1940, in Samos, Greece. Survived by wife of 52 years, Aristea (née Peris), daughter Irene (Manolis) Efstathiou, son Mike (Ellie), and grandchildren Basili, Zafeiro, George, and Simon. Brother of Chrysostomos (Kiki-deceased, Maria) and Despina (George) Galatos of Samos, and Dimitri (Lula, deceased) and Peggy Souvatsis (Sideris, deceased) of Australia. Beloved friend, uncle, godfather, and koumbaro to many, George was loved and respected by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, hard work, and loyalty to his family. May his memory be eternal. VISITATION SUNDAY 4-7 PM at YURCH FUNERAL HOME, 5618 Broadview Rd. Parma. TRISAGION SERVICE 6 PM. FUNERAL SERVICE MONDAY JULY 16, 2018 at 11 AM at ANNUNCIATION GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 2187 W. 14th St. Cleveland. Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery.
