George A Kerr's Obituary
George A. Kerr, age 72 passed on December 3, 2021. Beloved husband of 50 years to the late Mary A. Kerr (nee Rutledge). Loving Dad of the late Brian S. Kerr (fiancé Samantha Dunbrook) and Tracy C. Strosnider (Dale C.). Dear Grandpa of Chloe McClellan, Gage Dunbrook, Patrick Kerr, Piper Dunbrook and Collin Kerr.
Preceded in death by Father Frank H Kerr, Mother Mollie M Eldred, and Brother James Kerr.
Shortly after serving our country in the US Army in 1969, George ended up meeting the love of his life, Mary and mother of his two children, Brian and Tracy. George worked hard for his family at Republic Steel and ended up retiring in 2016, but he had a passion and love for the period of time he worked at Redeemer Lutheran Church running the Crisis Center that is unforgettable. George was so very proud to have served his country and loved to fish, camp, goof around, and go on vacations with Mary and the family. The love that George felt for his kids Brian, and fiancé Sam, Tracy, and husband Dale, and his grandkids Gage, Chloe, Patrick, Piper and Collin was insurmountable. Family will never be forgotten or left behind.
Memorial Visitation Friday, December 10, 2021 from 4-8:00pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:30pm at Yurch Funeral Home, 5618 Broadview Road Parma, Ohio 44134. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
