Frank “Luke” Lukerchine, age 91, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 16, 2019. Beloved Husband of Joyce (nee Gillihan) of 68 years. Loving Father of Pauline (Michael) Danzey of Medina, OH and Frances (Jeffrey) Lamparter of Castro Valley, CA. Dear Brother and Uncle. Son of the late John and Pauline (nee Hriscisce). Frank served in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II. He worked for Cleveland Cliffs on the Great Lakes and retired from Pneumatic Tool (United Tech) after 40 years. Family will receive friends in the Yurch funeral home, 5618 Broadview Rd., Parma, Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. Parastas service 7 p.m.. Funeral service with Divine Liturgy on Friday, November 22, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, 1900 Carlton Rd., Parma, at 10 a.m. (please meet at church). Interment Holy Spirit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Kidney Foundation, 2831 Prospect Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44115.
