We are so sorry that Florence has passed. She will be missed. What a kind, loving mother. She touched all of our lives in a special way. She is in our prayers. Love Susan
Florence was a dear sweet soul who always had a kind word for everyone. She had great empathy for others, never complained and will always be an inspiration and role model to me. I loved her and will miss her. Jim Besselman

Dear Great Aunt Florence
You know Aunt Florence when I was lots younger I always thought it was strange to have an aunt my mother’s age. I couldn’t figure out how someone so old as Grandma Klares had a brother as young as my mother. I guess when you are younger these kinds of things are perplexing. I remember going over my grandparent’s house on Aetna for big lavish parties. What I remember most is the food. There was always an incredible amount of it and it was so different than the food at our Italian gatherings. I remember visiting your house and seeing yours and Uncle Al’s wedding photo. There you were in this gorgeous exotic gown with a huge wedding party. I thought for sure you were a princess or some kind of royalty.
But I especially remember recently when you came to my mother’s 90th birthday party. You were so full of life and vitality. My mother was going into one of her depression cycles and you just started talking to her. You made her laugh and cry a little bit but you pulled her out of that depression. You made my mother's birthday party something special. I cannot thank you enough.
I wish I could be there for your funeral. This is the end of the quarter and I had just last week rescheduled several observations and meetings for this Wednesday. My prayers are with you and the family. In some cultures people do not believe you are dead as long as you are remembered. I will always remember you Aunt Florence.
