Evelyn Rodopoulos' Obituary
Evelyn “Beba” Rodopoulos (nee Harsoulas), age 77, passed away July 22, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Panagiotis. Loving mother of Phillip Rodopoulos (Lisa) and Angela Brandt (Philip). Dear grandmother of Peter Rodopoulos, Alexandra Rodopoulos, and Jimmy Brandt. Daughter of the late Harisios and Margarita Harsoulas. Sister of Eleni Plataniotis (George, deceased), George Harsoulas (Donna), Nick Harsoulas (Delores), and Mary Harsoulas (deceased).
Evelyn “Beba,” a woman of boundless love, resilience, and grace, was born on June 22, 1948, in the picturesque village of Velventos, Kozani, Greece. At the tender age of 14, she embarked on a courageous journey with her family to America, where she wove a life rich with devotion, faith, and joy.
In 1970, Beba married the love of her life, Panagioti “Panos” Rodopoulos, and together they welcomed two children, Phillip and Angela. Tragically, at the young age of 28, Beba faced the profound loss of her beloved Panos in a workplace accident. Yet, fortified by her unyielding Orthodox faith, the unwavering support of her family and friends, and her own indomitable spirit, Beba transformed her grief into a legacy of love and strength.
Beba’s life was a testament to selflessness and care. She poured her heart into nurturing her family, ensuring they were enveloped in warmth and opportunity. To all who knew her, Beba was a radiant presence—a devoted sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and friend whose compassion knew no bounds. Her infectious laughter lit up every gathering, while her culinary creations—masterpieces of Greek tradition and love—brought comfort and delight to countless tables.
Beba’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her children, Phillip and Angela, her adored grandchildren, and the many lives she touched with her kindness and generosity. Her spirit will forever inspire those who were blessed to know her, reminding us to live with faith, love fiercely, and savor life’s simple joys.
