Mike Kalevakis, age 82, beloved husband of Dora (nee Constantinos) for 58 years; loving father of George (Vicki), Kosta, Voula Markovic (Mike), Maria Velkos (Joseph), and Peter; cherished “Pappou” of Emanuel and Paul Kalevakis, Niko, Dora, Emanuella, Steven, and Leonidas Markovic, Nikolas, Emmanuel, and Alexandros Velkos; brother of Eirini Vondikakh (John). In lieu of flowers, please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
All Services will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 2187 W. 14th St. Cleveland, OH 44113, on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Friends received from 9am-11am, with funeral service to follow. Interment at St. Theodosius Cemetery. Masks and social distancing required at all services.
Family and friends are welcomed to join us in celebrating the life of Mike Kalevakis immediately following the funeral services at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Hall at around 1:30pm.
Mike Kalevakis was born on January 6th, 1939 and raised in the village of Leka, Samos. There he met and married the love of his life Dora. Together they emigrated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1963 and began to build their family together. Throughout the years of their marriage, he worked tirelessly to provide for his wife and children through hard labor and real estate investments. He created life-long friendships everywhere he went which brought him great comfort. Dad will always be the Patriarch of our family. His children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews were his greatest source of happiness and pride and through them his memory will remain eternal. We love you Baba and Pappou!
