ELENA DISCENZA (nee Niro), 66, of Seven Hills, OH, formerly of Montreal, Quebec, born and raised in Baranello, Campobasso Italy August 8, 1949, passed away December 24, 2015 surrounded by family. Elena is survived by her husband of 47 years, Berardino, and their sons Piero (Myra) and Roberto (Laila); grandchildren Christian, Lauren, and Gemma; mother Caterina Niro, and sisters Giuseppina Niro and Gina Niro-Newbrough. She was preceded in death by her father, Pietro Niro. Elena was an excellent seamstress and cook. She enjoyed making meals for her family. Elena was proud, strong, and an extraordinary gardener. Her contagious laugh and happy personality brought joy to so many people. Her passing will leave a void in many hearts.
