Uncle Eddy got me my first full-time job at Horsburgh & Scott in 1978. I remember that they had already filled the open positions for that summer, but Chris Horsburgh had so much respect for Uncle Eddy that they made another position for me (and I tribute Uncle Eddy's reputation there with getting me a plumb position working with the assembly technicians instead of general labor that I saw the kids my age doing that summer).
I'll always remember Uncle Eddy as a humble, soft-spoken, kind, caring man who was faithful in all things, and hard working. I hadn't seen Uncle Eddy in a couple of years but was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to talk with him about the old days a bit (his early years in Poland, our Horsburgh & Scott years, and a few stories that I'd never heard before and a couple that made me laugh).
Forever in our memories
