I just found out today (6/13/23) that Dave has passed away. I am shocked as I spoke to him over the 4th of July weekend last year. I am sorry that I didn't know as he was one of my oldest friends from Chatfield/West 162nd Street where he grew up. Rest easy my old friend.
I have so many wonderful memories of us camping. From Willow Lake to put in bay, Mohican park, canoeing down rivers and Dad's favorite, snipe hunting. You gave me a family and took me in as your own. Give mama a big hug.
