Beverly Pacanovsky's Obituary
Marie Beverly (nee Zelenka) Pacanovsky, 88, passed away on September 9, 2024. Beverly was born
on November 23, 1935, to the late Joseph and Mary Zelenka. She married Robert Pacanovsky
(deceased 2023) on July 25, 1964. They were members of St. Charles Borromeo, St. Thomas
More, and St. Basil’s Catholic Churches during their 59 years together.
Beverly worked outside the home at a handful of organizations including Metro Health, St.
Charles Credit Union, and Padua High School. The work she cherished most was being a
homemaker and caregiver to many family members and friends.
For the past five years, she enjoyed living at Jennings at Brecksville where she was cared for by
their outstanding staff.
Beverly is survived by sons Bob (Connie) of Akron, Ohio, and John (Lissa) of Cary, North
Carolina; grandchildren Cassie, Adam, and Grant; sister Pat (Rich) Dybzinski; sisters-in-law
Linda, Sharel, and Cheryl Zelenka; Jeanette and Marna Pacanovsky. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Robert; brothers Joe, Bob, and David Zelenka; sisters Joan (Joe) Juhas and
Ann Marie Zelenka; sister-in-law Betty (Pat) Garber; and brothers-in-law Joe and Ray
Pacanovsky.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 22 at Yurch’s Funeral Home, 5618
Broadview Road, Parma, Ohio, from 4- 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on
Monday, September 23 at St. Charles Borromeo Church at 9:30 a.m. Graveside service at Holy
Cross Cemetery to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jennings at
Brecksville, 9736 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville, Ohio 44141.
