Anna Salamalekis' Obituary
Anezina “Anna” Salamalekis (nee Kokkas) age 82. Beloved wife of Evangelos of 54 years. Loving mother of Popi (Joe) Riedel, and Gus (Kristen) Salamalekis. Sister of Panayiotis (deceased), Theodore (deceased), and Irene. Loving aunt of Maria Fotinos and George Coccas and many nieces and nephews in Greece. Born June 17, 1933, in Lekka, Samos, Greece and came to Canada in 1957 and later came to the United States in 1969. She passed peacefully after a bout of cancer on Friday, March 25, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones. She had a wonderful spirit, always smiled and told everyone she loved them. She believed in the goodness of people. Family will receive friends at YURCH FUNERAL HOME 5618 Broadview Rd. Parma, Ohio. 44134 on TUESDAY 4-8 pm. Trisagion Service 6 pm on Tuesday. FUNERAL SERVICE at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 2187 W. 14th Street, Cleveland, OH. 44115 on Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, or Hospice of Western Reserve 33080 Hospice way, Westlake, Ohio. Interment at St. Theodosius Cemetery.
