Anna Floasiu's Obituary
Anna Floasiu (nee Kedves) born on February 18th 1937 in the village of Madaras Ciuc, Romania passed away on June 14th 2026 in the city of Westlake, Ohio, USA. She is survived by Electra Floasiu (daughter), her niece Maria Poroszlai (Coloman), great niece Elektra, great nephew Kalman (Catherine), nephew Imre Vekony (Maria), great niece Tunde, great nephews Gyusi and Zolti, great great nieces and nephews Devendra, Sanjay, Victoria and Eva, cousins Brigita Antal and Vera Biro, and her many friends and relatives in the United States and in Europe. Preceded in death by her parents Aron and Terezia Kedves (nee Antal), and her 6 siblings Berta, Roza, Teri, Aron, Gusti and Andras.
Anna was trained as a professional furrier in Bucharest, Romania, and she lived there until 1981 when she came to live in the United States. While in the USA, she enjoyed spending time with friends and relatives, cooking, tailoring garments for others, playing board games, but mostly spending holidays with her family. She will be most fondly remembered as someone who was always kind, positive and encouraging to others in her circle of life.
A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday June 27, 2026 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with a prayer service at 12 Noon at Yurch Funeral Home, 5618 Broadview Rd. Parma, OH 44134.
