Ana Mendoza's Obituary
With sorrow and gratitude, we announce the passing of our
beloved mother, Ana Mendoza (nee Rodriquez), who was born on
July 30, 1931, in Lares, Puerto Rico. As a young teenager, she
moved with her family to New York City. At an Easter gathering,
she met Angelo (deceased), whom she married soon after. They
shared 40 wonderful years of marriage until his passing.
Together, they built a loving family: Angel Luis (Robin), David,
Advia Terlop (Pete), and Adam (the late Sandra).
Ana was the cherished daughter of Esperanza Fuster (deceased)
and beloved sister of Miquel Rodriquez (deceased).
After relocating to Cleveland, she was blessed with loving
grandchildren: Lisa Rivera, Breana Terlop, Marianna, Alexis, and
Christopher.
One of Ana’s greatest joys was cooking for family and friends.
Please join us for a final farewell on Tuesday, June 30, from 5–8
p.m. at Yurch Funeral Home, 5618 Broadview Road, Parma,
Ohio. A final prayer service will be held at the funeral home the
following day on Wednesday July 1, 2026 at 9:15 a.m., followed by a 10:00 a.m.
funeral Mass at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 4900 Broadview Road,
