    Morris Novak

    June 10, 2021

On Thursday, June 10, 2021, Morris Novak, beloved partner of Antonia Perris and sibling of Miranda and Marcos, passed away at the age of 73. Morris was born on December 20, 1947 in Athens, Greece, to Jason and Ketty Novak. Morris attended schools in Athens, Caracas, and Manhattan, and graduated from the ACS American Community Schools of Athens, Greece. He then went on to study architecture at Anniesland College in Glasgow, Scotland. After his obligatory military service in Greece, he embarked on an international career in real-estate and other sales, eventually founding Tech/ton Inc, a building and development company, and becoming CEO of Morris Novak Realty LLC in Lakewood, Ohio, winning many awards and distinctions along the way. He was justly proud of his record-breaking accomplishments, and of his ability to initiate, nurture, and maintain long-lasting client and account relations. Spirited and fearless, smart and brave, and with a lively sense of humor, he dove into adventures of all sorts, always ready to take on challenges others might retreat from. With an inventor’s passion, he delighted in building things out of whatever was at hand, in repairing complex machinery, in restoring buildings and structures. Morris loved and was loved by many dear friends and enjoyed spending time with his “parea” playing cards, going to festivals, and spending time outdoors. Generous and loyal to a fault, he gave all of himself to those he loved, and, most of all, to his beloved parents, whom he took care of to their dying days, and whom he missed to his own last day. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Ketty and Jason. He is survived by his beloved lifelong companion, Antonia Perris, and her daughters Kalliope and Anna, his older sister Miranda and younger brother Marcos, his cousins Athena and Michael,Tsarina and family, his nephew, Theodore, and niece, Katrina, and the extended families. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 2187 West 14th Street, in Cleveland. Friends can be received from 10 to 11 am. The funeral service proper will run from 11 am to 12 pm. Flowers may be sent to: Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 2187 West 14th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113 Phone: (216) 861-0116
