Chris Karas (Karamanis), 87, fell asleep in the Lord on November 30, 2021. Born November 3, 1934, in Siderokastro (Serres) Greece. Preceded in death by his parents, Athanasios and Styliani (Stefanidis) and brother Stefos (Sylvia+). Chris immigrated to the United States in 1952. He soon met Dea, the love of his life, at a church glendi. Their home was a place of joyful gathering for their large family, numerous godchildren, and countless friends. Chris and Dea enjoyed taking trips across the United States and abroad, often to visit beloved family. Chris was a faithful member of St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church, where he served on parish council for many years. He was also active in AHEPA Chapter 480, North Royalton, Ohio. As a respected member of the Cleveland business community, Chris worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He was a generous, gracious, and loving man who enjoyed playing golf and visiting with friends for coffee and a game of backgammon. The family will receive visitors from 4 pm to 8 pm Thursday, December 2, 2021, at St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church 4548 Wallings Road, North Royalton, OH 44133 with a Trisagion Service at 7 pm.
