Vicki Ewald
Dear Richard,
Nina and I met during your tenure in Toledo. The LWV was a passion for both of us. We shared a dedication to politics and fair elections. During our joint time on the state board, our travels to Columbus and back cemented our deep connection. You two left for a new city. However, we reconnected in Phoenix for my ten years there. Dinners for the four of us, luncheons with Nina, and the joys of friendship. I have yet to meet anyone that compares with Nina's depth of intellect and knowledge of the world of governance.
I will miss her greatly, I wish you only the best in your life, and I am quite sure she will always be sitting on your shoulder whispering her sage words.
