I first met Barbara in 1989. Barb and her mom, Helen babysat my son. Unfortunately we lost contact of each other for many years. In 2014/2015 I was at church and heard an old familiar voice and thought to myself, "that must be Barbara", her hair had greyed , she was no longer a redhead, but still just as feisty as one. We picked up where we left off. We instantly became best of friends again. We were there for each other through so much, both good and not so good. Barb loved trying and exploring new places and we tried many of them together. I was constantly on the look out for little gifts for her to surprise her kids and grandkids with. Barb believed in prayer. I think in almost every conversation we had she would tell me who she was praying for and that would always include me. Barb put up one heck of a fight, She fought hard and loved hard. I will miss our adventures and our many phone calls but most of all , I will miss you.
