Bonnie Fitzsimmons
I remember Mrs. Baranowski from my ninth grade honors English class. She was a tough teacher and demanded the best from her students. As a student I was intimidated by her, but as an adult I realized what a great teacher she was. I vividly remember her asking me if I read A Tale of Two Cities, because I got the highest grade in the class on the test. Even though her comment might not seem like a big deal, it made a great impression on me. Today I’m a high school English teacher and an avid reader of Dickens because of her influence.
